Alberta Advantage Immigration Program - Request for a Nomination Extension Fee
A fee is required to submit a Request for a Nomination Extension under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).
If your AAIP nomination certificate is expired and you meet the requirements for a nomination extension, you may request an extension from the AAIP.
There is no guarantee you will be issued an extension.
Note: Alberta Express Entry Stream nominees cannot extend their nomination.
Please review the ‘What to do after you are nominated’ section for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program stream you were nominated under on the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program website before paying the fee.
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program application fee is non refundable once a request has been submitted. Refund requests for nomination extension fees will not be considered. The fee covers the cost of processing your request and is required whether a nomination extension is issued or not.
You must submit a copy of the fee payment receipt with your request. If you do not include a copy of the fee receipt, your request may be delayed or declined.
If you do not pay the correct fee or fee amount, your request may be delayed or declined.

Select your registry agent. Registry agents offer registration, information and licensing services on behalf of government. The Government of Alberta is working collaboratively with registry agents to bring more government services online. You are not required to visit the selected registry agent.
