Alberta is proud to host the Tri-National Agricultural Accord in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from September 28 to October 1, 2026.

The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Honourable RJ Sigurdson, welcomes the Secretaries, Ministers, Directors, and Commissioners of agriculture and rural development from the states and the provinces of the countries within North America. Members of the Agriculture industry are also welcome. This Accord is not open to the general public.

The Tri-National Agricultural Accord is the primary opportunity for senior state and provincial agricultural officials of the United States, Canada and Mexico to work together on agricultural trade and development issues. The accord represents a longstanding commitment to collaboration on trade between the three countries, and the current meeting arrangement dates back to 1992. Alberta will host the 35th Tri-National Agricultural Accord in Calgary on Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 2026 at the Hotel Arts Downtown. 

Registration includes:

Who books my hotel accommodations?

Attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel accommodations directly with the Hotel Arts Downtown Calgary by using the registration link.

Room rates are confirmed for 2026 and are quoted in Canadian dollars.

Rates listed are exclusive of applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes which currently include a 6% Calgary Destination Marketing Fee, 6% Tourism Levy and 5% GST (17.66% cumulative). Please note that taxes and levies are subject to change. The base rate includes the first two adults. If the group is GST except, a GST exception letter is required in advance, and will be adjusted post stay. Any additional adults (18+) staying in the room will be charged $30.00 per person per night.

How can I sign up for tours on September 30th?

Tours will become available on this page as they are finalized. Please return to the TNA 2026 Website for updates on the tours and to this registration page to make your selection. Registration for tours can be completed after registering for the event.

Where will I pick up event materials?

A desk for welcome and event materials will be available at the Hotel Arts and the Fairfield Marriott beginning at 8am on September 28th

Can I transfer my ticket/registration to someone else?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket. If need be, please email tri-nationalaccord2026@gov.ab.ca with your confirmation number and outline who you would like to transfer the ticket to and how we can contact them about their information.

What payment methods are accepted?

Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard, American Express, or Apple Pay are accepted. Interac Online is not available.

All payments are securely processed through TD Merchant Services and charged in Canadian currency.

Is there parking available?

Yes, complimentary on-site self-parking is available for hotel guests. Larger vehicles can park in the on-site surface lot with no height restrictions.

Is food provided?

Yes, included with attendee registration, food will be provided at the following meals:

Tuesday September 29th – Breakfast, Lunch.

Wednesday September 30th – Breakfast, Lunch, Gala dinner.

Thursday October 1st - Breakfast. 

Where can I get a copy of my registration receipt?

A receipt will be sent to the email account entered during the payment process. Please print a copy for your records as no other receipts will be mailed out.

How do I cancel my registration?

Email tri-nationalaccord2026@gov.ab.ca before August 15th, 2026. No refunds will be issued after that date.

    • A full refund will be offered with cancellation before August 15th.  After August 15th no refund will be available with a cancellation.
