Sheriff – Civil Enforcement Program: Bailiff Appointment Fees

A receipt will be emailed to you once your payment has been processed. Please print the receipt and send it with your application forms as proof of payment.
Guided by the Civil Enforcement Act, our office regulates the civil enforcement industry by:
- Licensing/Authorizing Civil Enforcement Agencies;
- Appointing Civil Enforcement Bailiffs;
- Overseeing its activities;
- Responding to complaints about it;
- Overseeing its training;
- Creating its procedures; and
- Preparing reports about it.

Failure to provide a receipt with your application will delay processing of your application.
Refunds:
- Refunds will not be processed for this product.
- The fee covers the cost of processing your application and is required whether your application is successful or not.

Select your registry agent. Registry agents offer registration, information and licensing services on behalf of government. The Government of Alberta is working collaboratively with registry agents to bring more government services online. You are not required to visit the selected registry agent.
