Land Agents Licensing Fees
A receipt will be emailed to the email address you provide during the checkout process after your payment has been processed. Please print the receipt and submit it with your completed application form as proof of payment.
In Alberta, subject to exemptions, a person must be a licensed land agent when negotiating for or acquiring agreements for surface interests in land, which in the absence of an agreement may be subject to a right of entry order, expropriation or other legislation.
There are two types of licences: (1) Interim; and (2) Permanent.

Failure to provide a receipt with your application will delay the processing of your request.
Refunds:
- Fees collected go toward the cost of processing your application before a licence is issued or denied.
- Fees are non-refundable.
- Duplicate payment for the same fee may be subject to a refund. Refunds will be issued through the same payment method you used to make the purchase.
Find a Registry Agent
Select your registry agent. Registry agents offer registration, information and licensing services on behalf of government. The Government of Alberta is working collaboratively with registry agents to bring more government services online. You are not required to visit the selected registry agent.
