Tour Information

This tour offers attendees an inside look at CPKC's tri-national rail operations across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Learn how CPKC plays a critical role in transporting grain and other agricultural commodities to international markets and how rail operations support reliable supply chains. Delegates will then visit Foothills Creamery, a popular Alberta food processor, transforming Canadian-sourced cream into premium butter and ice-cream using traditional barrel churning methods.

About the companies:

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) is a major North American railway company formed in 2023 through the merger of Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern. They operate the only transnational rail network, and first single-line rail, moving a wide range of goods across the continent. CPKC plays a key role in supporting trade, supply chains, and economic activity across North America.

Foothills Creamery has been producing high-quality dairy products for over 50 years, using cream sourced from across Western Canada. They offer over 80 ice cream flavours and continue to make butter using traditional barrel churning techniques. The company is a well-known Canadian brand, recognized for their excellent products and longstanding Alberta roots.
