GoodLeaf Farms is a 96,000 square-foot indoor vertical farm that grows fresh, pesticide-free greens year-round. Learn how Controlled Environment Agriculture works, the use of automation and how the company supports reliable, local food production by putting innovation at the forefront. Afterwards, visit Livestock Water Recycling, a Calgary-based company transforming livestock waste into recycled, clean water and nutrient-rich fertilizer that is repurposed, helping address challenges faced by farmers and reducing greenhouse gas emissions around the world.

Transportation
Transportation to the facilities from Hotel Arts is included as part of your registration.
Please arrive at 12:30 PM in the lobby of Hotel Arts to sign in and for a brief orientation prior to departure.
Refreshments
Please note that light refreshments will be provided on the tour, however, participants are encouraged to eat beforehand and will be responsible for their own supper arrangements after the tour.
Safety
For safety purposes, registrants are required to dress according to the facility’s requirements. Please wear closed-toe, flat-bottomed shoes and wear full-length pants. Avoid skirts and do not wear jewelry. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided at each facility and restrooms will be available at designated stops along the tour.
Language
Translators in French and Spanish will be available.
Accessible-friendly
Some walking involved. Please indicate whether you require the use of an elevator as there are some stairs.
Additional information:
As this tour includes a food-production facility, please do not attend if you are sick. Avoid bringing any food, drinks, gum, cigarettes, and smoking devices.
