    Winter Camp Out - Castle Wilderness Skills Field Series Finale

    Join the Castle Parks Winter Guides on March 17 for an overnight winter camping experience in beautiful Castle Provincial Park!


    Our guides will help you with all the skills needed to spend a night out in winter. Sleep in a quinzhee (conditions permitting) or tent-it in all-season style. Enjoy your dinner by a roaring fire, take in the quiet of winter, and marvel at the starry skies. In the morning, your guides will provide a pancake breakfast!


    This is the culminating event of the Wilderness Field Skills Series. Whether you have attended previous sessions or are new to the series, everyone and all levels of experience are welcome!


    Camping equipment, dinner and snacks are not provided.

    Description

    Meet at South Syncline parking lot.

    Activities begin in the parking area on Saturday, March 17 at 3:30 PM and end on Sunday, March 18 at 11:00 AM.

    Have fun and prepare for your adventure. Please dress for the activity and conditions.

    The Castle Winter Guide leading the tour will contact you at least one week in advance of the tour regarding preparations, equipment and food.

    Rules and Conditions

    Refunds

    • To receive a refund you must notify Castle Provincial Park by calling 403-627-1152 or emailing Swparks@gov.ab.ca at least 72 hours prior to the time of your tour.
    • Your tour may be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like inclement weather. In this case you will automatically receive a refund.
    • Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used to make the purchase.
